5th This The Soundcheck early in the morning with Xiaolong for "DreamBand". Dayvid calls it "Dream-on Band". I kinda like the latter. "the 4 new judges for fei chang supersoundcheck" "pretend-to-be-a-statue" 3 godlike drummers who are good with their sticks! Cake gorging. Thanks Fiona for the cake! Last shot for this entry! you stood up here and looked down, would you forget…the screams…the
cheering…the frantic waves..the signboards…the fans…?
August 2006 marked the end of 7 long months of gruelling schedules for
my brothers and sisters in music. But then for some it opened so much
more paths in their lives. My heartfelt congratulations to MiLuBing! You were one of the first few friends we made in Superband and it has been a great journey!
is indeed a lifetime’s experience, for those who stood on the stage
that night. The air you breathe in, the screams that fills your body,
the pounding music in your ears, has never felt this good. It has been
a dream come true for me, to have performed in front of so many people.
In fact it has already surpassed my small dream of being a rock star.
rehearsal days were some of the fun times we’ve had. Although for some
most of the time it was soundchecks, soundchecks, soundchecks and
soundchecks…..and………..soundchecks!
sessions became part of the kill-time techniques. Ray and I had to be
moved away by the annoyed crewmen.
Hi everyone! Not to worry , Jingbao is still ard. we are currently hiding in our caves resting so dat we can come out stronger and better. haha
Jingbao is currently in the midst of song writing and planning.
So what are the rest of u doing? I have no idea, haha, coping with everything in my life, i do hope everything is going well for alllllll of u reading this too!

Superband Finals
Jingbao (Vin, Hanse and Ray) involved in opening act’s dance and vocals.

Its the final day of Superband, Finals, and Milupng won.
It was a loonnnnnggggg day for me and ray since we went there pretty early.
But all in all, its a Fun day!!

On 18/07/06 , Jingbao went to Lee Music Studios as indicated by Mediacorp to do recording for superband song. Here are some shots taken dat day. 
静爆乐团,
formed in mid-2002, delivered and tapped into genres of music encompassing
Chinese pop, alternative rock and own compositions. The band’s aspirations
to perform became its only reason for existence. The band’s image
portrays the attitude of rock and roll with a touch of subtlety, and
contains a tinge of Japanese alternative rock influence. The distinctive
trait of 静爆乐团 is its rhythm based line-up of 3 members yet
having a tendency to generate an explosive and elusive sound, deliberated
to create impacts each and every time. 静爆乐团’s fundamental nature is also evident in their
ballads, typically melancholic and emotional. Over the years of experimenting,
the music of the band gradually matured and found this direction and
loud style.
静爆乐团
has several street shows in their bags including Singapore Street Festivals,
Cosfests(Cosplay Festivals), neighbourhood events and pub gigs. They
have also participated in voluntary shows hoping to foster more experiences
of performing. The current main focus of the band as of late is song
writing and production

Hanse grew up with a passion for drawing,
making all his drawings bring cheer and joy to those around him. In his young
days he realized his interest in the creative direction, and in his primary school days , he met a few
good friends, Melf and Leonard(now in Defuse) and Andrew . Many years later, they started
playing music. Their first band, Recall, was formed. Due to musical
differences, Recall eventually split up and it was THEN, that he realized the
importance of music in his life.

About:
Ray
grew up in a Kampong inspired by his late father to play music and percussions.
His first ever encounter was the toy snare drum given to him from the local
provision store. This little thing in his arms was instantly magic and he found
himself neglecting his other prized toys.
He
tried to join the school band but it was full, he was put in the Chinese Dance
Club instead. The dream to play wasn’t
a tad bit relinquished, and then he was fatefully appointed the snare drum
percussionist of a humble bagpipe band in his secondary school. His life changed.
This coming saturday 22th July 06, we have been
invited to be the finale band to perform for a event called
Rockalution.
Do arrive at latest at 9pm
Performance timing 9.15pm
Pls come down earlier so that you do not miss our performance.

Three concerns of the day..
1.Super HOT weather
2.Sound system problems
during soundcheck(vocal sound was muffled)
3.Unexpected HUMOGEOUS stage( didn’t expect a stage that
could house 30 people on it… hehe)
All in all, it was great fun. A big thank you to all the supporters and fans who came to support us!!
Our performance was from 4.30pm onwards, for about half an hour, song list includes

3: Cao Cao
4: Revolution

Although there was some who couldn’t make it and the hot weather , we all still had great fun on stage. Big thanks to HL for coming so early to help out and to the jingbao commitee as well as the organisers of the event for inviting us and making this performance possible. Thank you to the stage crew and soundman for their assistance on stage.
Lastly and most importantly, A big thank you to all the supporters and fans who came to support us!!!!!!!!!!!
